This is a combined register description and information document for customers, potential customers, and website users in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (679/2016) articles 12 and 13.

5. Duration of processing
Personal data is mainly processed for as long as the customer contract, for the management of which we need information, is valid. We mark the information in the register as we receive it from the registered person themselves and they are updated according to what the registered person notifies the data controller.

Right of inspection
You have the right to check the personal data we have stored about you. If you notice inaccuracies or deficiencies in your information, you can ask us to correct or supplement the information correctly.
Right to object
You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data at any time if you feel that we have processed your personal data unlawfully or that we do not have the right to process some of your personal data.
Right to erasure
If you feel that the processing of some of the information concerning you is not necessary for our tasks, you have the right to request us to delete this information. We will process your request, after which we will either delete your information or notify you of a justified reason why the information cannot be deleted. If you disagree with our decision, you have the right to complain to the Data Protection Ombudsman (instructions for making a complaint). You also have the right to demand that we restrict the processing of disputed information until the matter is resolved.
Right to complain
You have the right to complain to the Data Protection Ombudsman if you feel that we are violating the applicable data protection legislation when processing your personal data.

The information of potential customers is obtained with his/her consent during a website visit or other personal or digital interaction.

Information is not transferred for marketing purposes outside Buvnieks.

We have chosen secure, Europe-based server centers as the storage location for your data.
10. Principles of register protection
The secure processing of your personal data is important to us. We use the following protective measures to ensure the security of your data.
Access to the system requires entering a username and password. The system is also protected by firewalls and other technical means.
Only certain, predefined employees of the data controller are allowed to access and use the information stored in the system.
The use of the register is protected by user-specific identifiers, passwords, and access rights.
The register is located on a computer that is placed in a server room on a server, where access is blocked from unauthorized persons.
The information contained in the register is located in locked and guarded premises.
Regular backups are taken from the register.
